The Foundation Foxtrotter Heritage Association is an organization dedicated to the preservation, propagation, and promotion of the foundation style Missouri Foxtrotter. The object of this group is to maintain a gene pool of the original style Foxtrotter blood that is limited in dilution by Tennessee Walking Horse. It is the desire and intent of this association to preserve a pool of old time Saddlehorse and Morgan genes in keeping with much of the earliest foundations for the Missouri Foxtrotter breed.

The Foundation Foxtrotter Heritage Association shall work within the rules and regulations of the Missouri Foxtrotter Horse Breeders Association and vows not to perform, cause, or allow any actions which might demean, embarrass, or harm to the breed, it's reputation, or it's membership.

The Foundation Foxtrotters Heritage Association is a sovereign entity governed by rules and regulations developed by valid members of the Foundation Foxtrotters Heritage Association. The organization, development, management and control of the Foundation Foxtrotters Heritage Association, shall remain separate and independent of the Missouri Foxtrotter Horse Breeders Association with the intent of being an asset to the MFTHBA.

The Foundation Foxtrotter Heritage Association welcomes all members whether they be owners of foundation horses or simply enthusiasts. The Foundation Foxtrotter Heritage Association shall render assistance to its members in calculating the ratios of Tennessee Walking Horse blood in any given horse and shall work to unify breeders and owners of foundation horses in a network whereby such breeders and owners can share information and plan breeding strategies and marketing networks.

The Foundation Foxtrotter Heritage Association shall use its resources to provide a publicly accessible directory of Foundation breeders and shall make all effort to promote public awareness of the group, its mission, and its horses
