In
2006 a group of Missouri Foxtrotter owners and enthusiasts
formed a secondary registry with the intent to identify,
preserve and promote the original style Missouri Foxtrotter
that was the foundation of the breed for the first 20 years
of the registry. The Foundation Foxtrotter Heritage Association
analyzes pedigrees for genetic content and maintains an
active database of pedigrees which includes each individual's
percent of TWH blood. Since TWH did not contribute largely
to the original Missouri Foxtrotter, The FFHA limits the
acceptable influence of that blood to no more than 50% of
the total in any given horse. In partnerships with LocalProBook
